I Love Vacation

This is another vacation I took for this break. I took a trip down to Singapore to visit my long lost fren whom I've not seen for a WHOLE year. Took the opportunity to scrape up few bucks and head on to see her. Lemme start from the beginning k?

THURSDAY
Went over to Junko's house for a fun Jap lesson. We all cooked together and had dinner. We all given tasks to do our part in the cooking. We had Curry Rice with Miso soup. It was yummy. The recipe is damn simple. I shall post it up for you all next time. For now... Let's focus on my wonderful vacation k? ^-^

After dinner, said our goodbyes and we wont be seeing Akiko till end of the year. I'll miss you. Hopefully she'll grow taller than me by then. Hehe...

FRIDAY
Bus got delayed for an hour (as usual) and reached S'pore around 2++ but reached Shan's doorstep at 4pm. I made a mistake and took a damn long train ride all the way. I made frens with this wonderful lady who showed me the way to get to my station. She's Malaysian who's been working there for 51/2 yrs now. Jennifer... hope you're still being a good girl ^-^

I din go out cos I was dead tired. But did alot of catching up with Shan and I told her everything about my project with ANDREW! Oh yes, there were alot of bitching then. Haha... Shan served crabs for dinner... yummy

SATURDAY
I went to East Coast Park to watch the boys practise for their game tomorrow. I loved that place... you can rent a bike, tandem bike, roller blades, jog or take a nice walk there... it's such a lovely way to spend a good weekend. Just check it out.

Some poor dude fighting the strong waves

Sand castle time!

Father & daughter flying a kite

Ahhh.... the sea... the sky

Something called "Gong Gong"? I don remember... but it taste damn good

The boys getting a good workout for tomorrow's big game

Went clubbing later. If anyone of you love clubbing, you'll love this place. High up on the 70th flr of the Equinox Complex, in SwissĂ´tel The Stamford, lies on of the greatest place to par-tay! I'm talking bout the New Asia Bar. You can see the whole of Singapore from up there.

I had a great time there. They played diff selection of good songs to dance to and my frens kept buying test tubes and shots! I was happily whacking them away but unfortunately my girlfren couldn't hold her liquor well. So frequent trips to the ladies and I've made a discovery.

"Women are extremely friendly under the intoxication of alcohol"

I've never made so many female frens in the ladies ever. Women were making sure other women were alright (after the puking and all), women adjusting their outfits regardless who was watching, women kissing women, and I was so high... I had a conversation with some Jap chick in Jap! Haha... that was how wasted I was. But she wasn't in the mood to talk to me... she wasn't wasted enough... yet ^-^

SUNDAY
Managed to drag myself out of the bed and went to watch the football match. It was fine till it rained. Everyone ran to the bus stop. Shan and I had umbrellas so we stayed under the tree and hoped the rain would go away... sadly that din happen. The wind was crazy and my damn umbrella was leaking. My team won 3rd place. They weren't too happy about it. Oh well, next year then.

Then later at night, while the boys were sleeping, Shan and I were trying to keep awake for the World Cup match between Italy vs France. We kept ourselves busy with Scrabbles... haha... haven't played in a while. It's kinda fun.
By the time Italy won the cup, I was the only one up. The others couldn't stay awake to finish the game. Oh well.. next 4 yrs then ^-^

MONDAY
I was suppose to go back today but Shan talked me into staying for another day. I gave in. She took me to IKEA. I was curious to see how big it is compared to the one in Damansara. There was no comparison. The IKEA in S'pore is just as big as IKEA when it was back in One U. But everything is cheaper there though... that is if you are earning Sing $$...

For instance, Shan bought 2 rugs, a quilt, a quilt cover, a candle holder, a flower pot, 2 small boxes, a vase, 2 flowers, beads and"baja" and it all costs her S$ 109. That is some good shit goods... if it were in M'sia... it'll be like RM300.

TUESDAY
I decided to take the 1pm bus home so I can do some last-minute shopping before I head home. Left Shan's house around 10 am thinking I have plenty of time to shop. Due to navigation problems and not knowing where's where. I ended up with only 1 1/2 hr to do my shooping. What do I ended up buying? Lingerie... yes, I'm obsessed... along with some other obsessed stuff I needed. You know girls... stop shaking your head!

Managed to check in in a nick of time and was on my way home... ah... home... traffic... oh good god...
In the bus, on the bridge... looking at home

I loved this trip. Made a lot of frens... international frens actually... loads of fun. Until next year.
