My New Found Obsession

Was talking to Jakk online (as usual) the other day and she asked me if I wanna go lepak with her at KLCC on Boxing Day. Why not? I've not seen her since the day our semester ended. Took the train instead of driving all the way there... why? For many reasons. Reasons such as presented below:-
a) the crazy jam;
b) it's rainy season now... all the more it'll cause a crazier jam; and lastly
c) I'm too cheap to pay for the the parking fee which is sheer robbery, cos it's way too damn freakin expensive.
Anyway, met her around half past one. Asked her where to have lunch. I told her the fast food outlets were jam packed. She asked me "Are you in the mood to eat good food?". Hell yeah. She suggested we go to Chillis. Oh yeah! Now you're speaking my language. We sat on the bar counter cos other booths were taken. We din mind. We've never sat on there before. It took us a while to decided wat to eat. The waiter got sick and tired waiting on us, he took off without taking our orders. He came back like 5 mins later and we still had no idea wat to pick. I asked him to recommend something good. He helped me picked out this cun dish called "Tequilla-Lime Fried Fish" or something like that. Watever it was.. it was real good. Jakk had this dish with all sorts of varieties with 3 different kinds of sauce. Man we sure know how to live.
While waiting for our food, we came across on "Wot were the parents thinking?" topic. We were talking about names of some ppl we know. There's this guy who's name is Michael. Now there's nothing wrong with that name. Infact, I really like that name. But Michael is Chinese. When you are a Chinese, you have to be damn extra careful naming your kid. Now Michael's surname is Tan. In Cantonese, it sounds like "Mai Kai Tan" which literally means "Selling Chicken Eggs". Ironically, Michael's family earns a living by selling DUCK eggs. LOL... Then I told Jakk this girl I knew back in school. Her name is Annie.... her surname is Ting. We just started laffing our asses off. I know... we Chinese sure have weird sounds in our surnames. I guess her parents din mind anything, as long it's a baby. HAHAHAHAa....
Then we went over to Kinokuniya and I wanted to buy comic books (in Jap) and I asked her wat's good. She became all hyper and bringing me from one section to another and I realised that Jakk has a gift. Now not many people possess this ability. She could navigate her way around that place as if her Gran Pappy built the shop single-handedly. I realised that Jakk really and truly knows her stuff when it comes to Japanese comics. It's not often you can find someone who shares a cool interest with you and willingly help you out at the same time just becos you're a damn newbie. Fergit she's like 7 yrs younger than moi. I felt like a junior just being with her in that shop. Dammit, senpai. No, sensei is more like it.... I shall learn from thee.... oh teach me all you know, wise one with all the knowledge of great comics! I can't wait for my next trip with her. I think Kit should have the same amount of ability as her..... hmm....
Today, I went to Summit to buy a new Photoshop CS cd. Cos I think there's something wrong with my old one. Oh well.... went to this shop and found a whole lotta anime DVDs. Oh... heaven! I bought Jubei Chan and The Ninja Girl, Ranma 1/2 season 1-4. Too bad din bring enuff cash, I'd buy a whole lot more. Then Bryan wanted to get some games and while waiting for him, the game shops was playing the Kingdom Hearts II and I was really captivated by it. Actually I saw the same thing yesterday but that's another story. I'm a die-hard Disney fan, plus I love good Jap animation. I really wanted to play that but it's in Jap. Yeah, yeah. I know. You're thinking like "Isn't she's like learning Jap and stuff? I knew she was lying. That liar". I have a major problem with the language, k? I don... wait.. lemme rephrase that... I CAN'T read the Kanjis, man. So, I wanted to know the story in part I so went and bought it. Played it a bit and it was ok. I guess the starting of the game is not so exciting yet. I guess I need to be more patient. But where's all the whooping-ass shit and stuff?

Hot fashion tip.... to look cool, do wear weird-ass-over-sized shoes. That'll get you noticed fer sure.
