It's Pamper Me Time!

Today was not was I expected. I got up and checked on my downloads and Judy came into my room, grinning. Yup, she was expecting me to get ready to go to her church. I told her no. She said Nil brought a fren along to persuade me. I said "Nah!". She told me to go bathe first. I ignored her. I just wanted to stay at home and spend some quality time by myself really. I've been neglecting me for a while now. By the time she was done bathing, she told me it was my turn. Ignoring mode >switched on<. Came back half an hour later. Started asking me to hurry up. Ignoring mode >locked in tight<. The rest went like" Bla, bla, bla.... be there by 6:30". I don like ppl forcing me to do practically anything I don wanna do. You're my sister! Shouldn't you know that after 23 yrs by then? Shesh...
Ah... alone at home at last. Peace and quiet. Suddenly, a huge pang of Hindustani music piercing through my ears. They are here??? They meaning my parents. Went downstairs and yup, there was my dad singing aloud in the living room and my mom resting in her room. So much for peace and quiet. Bathed, changed, put on war paint, grab a manga and left. Decided to head towards Mid Valley. Haven't been there in a while. Had lunch in a Jap restaurant and decided to watch "Ice Age 2". There's one thing I do love going to the movies alone is not only I've got the balls to do it (most ppl I know find it pathetic) but you can always guarantee a good seat in the house. Why? Becos most ppl travel in packs or pairs, that's why. It's harder for these monkeys to get good seats. Muahahahaa.... I'm a genius... And I don understand why people pity or sympathise me. I love going to the movies by myself k? To me it's just like watching tv at home only this time the screen is bigger, with srround system and I get to watch it with a whole lot more people... like over 50. ^-^
While waiting to buy the ticket, I couldn't help over-hearing a convo between 2 veeeery young teen girls. It went something like this:
Girl #1: Hey (to Girl #2), check out that trailer. It's the new "Slevin" movie.
Girl #2: Oh yeah... hey, is that Lucy Liu? She'd the heroine right?
Girl #1: How can she be the heroine? She's asian.
Girl#2: You see the poster up there? She's the only girl there. She's a special case.
Girl#1: But still she's asian. I mean she can be a heroine in "Charlie's Angels" but not this movie.
Girl #2: Hahaa... dunno... oh, it's our turn now.
Kids....
