It's Been 7 Freakin Years!
The Stamford MalaccansIt all started with a call I received from Wilson a couple of days ago asking me if I was free on Friday... there will be a reunion for us, the Stamford Malaccans... I'd call it.
The venue was arranged to be at Mid Valley's All Sports Cafe for a dinner... I was kinda excited... it has been quite a while since I last saw them. Them, meaning the reason why I look forward to go to college back then. They gave the meaning of college "fun" ^-^
Who turned up? Let's see.... Melvin, Kah Weng and Wilson were in the middle of conversation when I entered the place... then came Jennifer and Stephanie.... soon Alvin... later came Hasif and finally James (he wasn't a student... he was the Asst. Principal!!! Why he was invited? Becos Melvin still keeps in touch with him... what a brown noser.. HAHAHHAAAA)
Everyone looked different!!! It's amazing what time can do to your look! Kah Weng was right.. if we were to bump each other on the street... we'd probably wouldn't be able to recognise each other...
We were recalling the stuff happened waaaaay back then... the events we did... the performances we organised and "SCM Nites!!!"... hahahaa... they were one of the fondest memories we had.... when someone blurted out SCM Nite (Stamford College Malacca Night), everyone shouted "SPICE BOYS!!!" hehehee...
This was back in 1998, we organised an annual dinner and the committee planned a secret performance. Which was the "Spice Boys". It was all Terence's idea... Each boy was chosen for each character... and the best part was most of the cast was present for tonight's reunion! Everyone was there except one who's currently in Aussie now. Everyone looked at me and started blabbing "It was Lynndy la!!! She was the one who choreographed us with the dance steps... she brought the clothes, right? But whose bra did I wear ah? We stuff wat?? Newspapers???" HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.... it was damn blardy hilarious...
We all sat there and chatted and realised out of the blue that none of us were married... cept Wilson... we just din care.. we felt young and marriage wasn't an issue... well... for some of us that is... we're planning another reunion by end of the month.. hopefully.. the lighting there will be much better... then I can post more... ^-^
