I Got High
Yup, I got so high since Wednesday and I totally loved it. I was way high up in the highlands and I think it's a great way to start off my semester break. Yes ppl, my another long-ass sem break has already begun. After submitting our (me, Kit, JaKk and George) ASSignments, off we went to celebrate it. We wanted to do this since sem 2 but no one got the ball rolling but not this sem, I really need this break. HECK! We ALL do! Slaving our asses off for the PSA animation for the past 15 weeks... we deserve this.
Alright... I was happy cos it was me first time driving up to Genting for the first time ever and it's not that far really. Parked at Skyway and took the cable car up to the hotel. It was Kit's first time and I was excited for him. It's so nice to be with someone experiencing one of their "first". Once we checked in, we rest for a while (cos most of us din sleep the other night... trying to finish up watever leftover ASSignments) and went touring the whole place. Had ramen for dinner and JaKk and I got a shock of our lives when we bought mineral water for 3 bucks each. Me thinks water from the highlands may be magical to cost that much.
It was already like 5 pm so we decided conquer the indoor theme park. The indoor roller-coaster ride was kinda boring... cept the damn kau crazy-ass corners which could easily throw us off. We show the ppl (a.k.a kids) the true art on how to ride the bumper cars. We were waiting in line and was surprised ppl weren't bumping their cars. They're just avoiding each other and going round n round in circles. Wtf... save it for the real roads la... we are here to drive like maniacs, k?
Other rides like the motion master was quite weird and the man (which is a mannequin btw) on the gondola ride was damn blardy scary, and we had so much time, we even rode the ferries wheel. Went out for a walk in the mist (quite chilly) and played card games till we shed freakin tears of sheer fun and went to bed. We shall conquer the outdoor theme park the next day.
How can one know when one had a tiring day?
When one snores damn loud the moment the eyes are shut.
The next day...
Got up at 8 am, had breakfast and straight away make our way to the outdoor theme park. We wanted to start off with a BIG BANG, MOTHER OF ALL RIDES, we went for the Sollero Shot. Note... I have a HUGE fear of heights and I was freaking out when I was raised damn kau high up into the sky and then........ nothing happened..... as the horrible aniticipation was building up, before I knew it.. I was falling real hard and fast and I screamt like a damn big baby. I was screaming for my dear life and I could hear George and Kit beside me laffing at me. Don gimme the "We were laffing wit you... not at you" crap. I know, k? JaKk was happily laffing at me from solid ground (T_T)
Other rides were tonnes of fun. Sat on the Spinner and I felt like flying... wait... the Flying Coaster felt like flying.... Spinner was tonnes of fun and my head was spinning like crazy over the Tea Cup ride. Confusing? Good... so were we. Then we went boat paddling and we saw ppl riding the Corkscrew! We quickly rushed to line up but the rain beat us to it and the ride was closed for the day. SHIT! But it's alright... its not like we haven't riden it before.
Although we had a great time... we were annoyed with the ppl cutting queue and all. Sheesh... it's bad enuff that ppl are being incosiderate on the road (which is why we had to do the damn PSA in da first place) and now ppl are being annoying on our vacation. I wanted to tell them off but I was too tired playing sign languages to a bunch of monkeys anymore.
The revenge...
Before heading home, we had our last ride on the Spinner and as we were being spun high up and really fast.... we sprinkled the monkeys below us with the dirt water from our shoes. Cruel? Maybe.... Satisfied? Most definately....
