It Was All Worth It

The moment all you die-hard aisukuriimugaru punya fans been waiting for. Hahaaa.... I doubt I got fans la.... heck, I'd bet no one reads this stuff... neways... my report on my life as an animation student period. For the past whole semester, a.k.a. 15 weeks, I have been slaving over my PSA project with my partner. Teng, teng... TENG!!!

Too bad I have to disappoint you ppl. I know I promised you the greatest biatching stuff ever but I realised now that there is no point in me talking bout my partner. Haha... I mean the presentation went well and I think we did the best we could and we've finally made it till the end without any bloodshed. Although I did feel like vomiting blood from time to time... but hey... you can't really get along with everyone right? I told myself from the start, if I can work with him... I can definately work with anyone sial. Yup, and I do feel so now.

Alright... how I feel bout doing a whole 30 secs animation... hmm... it was a great experience no doubt. Made me realised that this thing I'm venturing into is no easy matter. I have to be damn disciplined in order to be damn good. All those late night hours and lack of sleep and those scanning! Oh those scanning!!! I can never look at my scanner the same way ever again... and the inking!!! For those suffering from Parkinson disease... forgive me but... you can never get along with the staff from the inking department. They'll give you this nasty look that'll make you run for the hills... hahaha... but seriously...I'm not kidding.

But I seriously love my classmates... I love that we all motivate one another and helping one another to do an excellent job in our animation. No one is out there to sabotage anyone just to be the best... which made me realised that how great our passion is when it comes to creating a great animation. We can be each other's life savor and the worst enemy. Our constructive critisism can cause others to just throw away everything and restart all over. It's not that we love being brutal... there will be some damn obvious mistakes we can't see and we need ppl to point them out. Brutal yes... but damn helpful. With ppl like this... it's helps to eliminate petty slip-ups on presentation day.

And true enuff, presentation day went really well. Sure there are a weeeeeeee bit of errors but with only 15 weeks to do a 30 secs animation plus all the exercises and other ASSignments, I think we all did a pretty good job as first timers. I can't wait till next sem... it'll be hard... but it'll be worth it ^-^
