I'm giving you all a lil' something to think over... for fun sake... or sheer boredom...

A man tried to enter an exclusive club but the doorman refused to let him in because he wasn't a member. So the man hid at the corner hoping to hear the password from other members. No sooner, one of the members showed up.

The doorman said "12" and the member thought for a while and replied "6". The doorman let him in.

Then another member knocked on the door and he was given the number "6". He answered "3". He was let in.

The man had seen enough and decided to try his luck. He knocked on the door and the doorman said "10". Feeling confident, the man replied "5". He got rejected. Why?

Think it over... I'll give you the answer within a week... if no one gets it... haha...



ANSWER

The anwer to the man's given question was "3".... not "5". Still don get it? Ok..

The solution to all the questions above is not subtraction but the calculation of the letters in each number.

For instance, "twelve" has 6 letters in it.
"six" has only 3 letters in it

And there you have it... another answer to a great mystery. But it's never a mystery anymore if ppl (like a certain someone) googled the answers, man. That aint cool...
