Without A Doubt, Weird Weather

Yup, it's so hot and humid right now... I can't stand it.... the weather has been so weird since... well, ever! It was so cold last Saturday back in Melaka and damn hot the next day... raining non-stop when I came back to KL and it's no wonder I fell sick.... and went to work regardless. But I loved the traffic.... din know so many Chinese took off the whole week... guess it wasn't normal on CNY.

Anyway, I was kinda not in the celebration mood this year as well. Here are some of the things I've discovered this year.

My Grandma will never give up even if I turned to a lesbo (don push me, ah ma)
I will forever give my sister ang pow till she gets married
I love spending my time with Bryan walking anywhere... period (a known fact but I like saying it)
I can win in a wasabi eating contest (WASABEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!)
I have no luck when it comes to gambling.... this year
Non of my friends will ever come to visit me on this joyous occasion cos I don celebrate it in Melaka.... HAHAAAA...... silly me

Contented... For Now

Yup.... staying way past my bedtime... and tomorrow's the weekend... been busy lately... animating and all.... but I shall not blog much tonight.I'll do it tomorrow.

My First Night

I'm still in the office and it's 2 freakin am.... we have a deadline to meet by tomorrow and suddenly my Head negotiated with us a deal. If we can finish everything by tonight... then we can have a day's off tomorrow... at first I was reluctant due to being new to flash... but why not? The most I'll go back home real late and arrive back into the studio within a couple of hours of sleep and look like crap....

But I'm glad I've finished my assigned scenes... I asked my Head... "Can I go home now?"

"NO"

He said I should stay around in case someone else needs help with their scenes. So, while I'm waiting for favours to be answered... I might as well blog in my first night in over at the studio. I rather ALL of us suffer than my usual torment of bearing the pain all alone in my room back then... this is a new experience for me.... but then again... I don wan to experience it too often tho...

p/s hopefully the Disney project won be this bad.... aha! Disney project? I shall tell you more next time la... ^-^

I'm A Flasher

What a long week it has been... I've been starting animating since Monday and all I can say are two things....

One... animating in flash is a bitch
Two... I hate those damn S'poreans even more now.... (due to reason No.1)

Anyway, I have a deadline by next week and I'm afraid I can't meet it. I'm still damn new to flash and I hope I'll be able to catch up ASAP!!! But other than that... been staying back and trying to finish up scenes without banging my head with the monitor or scream. I pity Yenni who has to face me. And I love Nanie for having the patience to teach me and not yanking my hair everytime I tapped on her shoulder. Kan kita berdua orang Melaka... boleh la, kan? Kan?

I'm dead tired.... hopefully next week won't be as tiring...

Can't Believe It's All Ready Been 3 Years

Today is the day where I'll be meeting my classmates for the very last time in college... or is it university now? hmmmm... Anyway, today is Convocation Day. I was happy meeting everyone and others whom I've know for the past 3 years. It was wonderful... I've made so many weirdo frens and seen so many peculiar characters as well.

Anyway, my mom said this Convocation was weird. She din expect performances during the ceremony. She prefered my previous Convocation waaaaaay back in 2001. Yeah, who knew 6 years later, my parents would be attending another graduation of yours truly. Anyway, I din like the idea of the interuptions as well. Plus, their singing sucks. Mom agreed on that as well. After all, what would you expect from a bunch of graduates from LUCT itself who organised this event. A miracle? HAH! Mimpi la. Altho I only liked the first girl who sang some Malay song. Loved her voice.

The only highlight of the event was me and Kit entertaining one another by clapping like psychos. You can say that we were one of the few who clapped for everyone who went on stage from the start till the end. Excluding some morons whom we both came across respectively.

Only Bo and JaKk couldn't join us on this joyous occasion. But it ok... we'll have pics to share ^-^

But not today... but I promise you... the pictures are on the way....

And to all my fellow classmates whom I wont be seeing anymore or anytime soon... I'll miss you and I hope we always keep in touch.

And to the other half of my classmates... I'll see you at work on Monday.

First Day At The Animation Studio

Well... I can't put the title for this post as "First Day Of Work" right? I mean... did work before re-entering to school to study a totally diff field of profesionalism and all... So... like that lor..

Anyway... wasn't used to waking up this early... not even for college... cos I live so freakin near it... but today... I felt the big pinch when I got up before dawn and I was freezing nearly to death. Reached the office early, after discovering that most of the working citizens are on their holiday. If ppl on holiday and the jam still like this... then Monday.... DIE LA!!!

Anyway... my boss, Andrew, introduced me to everyone along with another new colleague, asked me to browse around their current project. I will be handling some real animation work on Monday! Yikes! Thank goodness for the weekend....

Friendly colleagues and loving frens to help me to get through the day... had a headache and wasn't comfortable in my working clothes... I can't wear them no more... I felt so out of place... looks like it'll be jeans and baby-tees once again. Woo hoooo!!! The simple pleasures to work in the art industry.

Anyway... not bad for a first day... gotta wake up early for my Convocation tomolo... gotta fix my messy hair... among other girly stuff... not to mention that my boss will be there tomorrow as an invited guest. Aiyah.... hahaaa....
